Okay it’s been decided now. We are officially going to NY, GA, and TN this winter. Not for very long and the dates aren’t exact, but long enough for everyone to atleast see Chris, Lily, Austin, and me once. We’re going to be in NY with my family from Christmas to the week after New Years for sure. We’ll probably go to GA on the 6th or something. And we do know we have to go home by the 17th so we don’t have to buy Lily a ticket. We won’t have much time in GA and TN so don’t expect too much time with us. I want to see all of Chris’s family and some childhood friends in that time. Anyway just letting you know so you can expect to meet Austin and see Lily.

24 weeks

I’m 24 weeks (6 months) today! Time is going by so fast and my belly seems like it should be A LOT bigger, but MAYBE I’ll get out of this without so many stretch marks! Who knows :) I need to go get tested next week to see if I have gestational diabetes. Which is one of my LEAST favorite appointments. I can’t eat that morning, then I have to drink this nasty sugar drink, take my blood, and then I go home. Well I already have REALLY low blood pressure so I won’t be able to take care of Lily and drive home, because I know I’ll feel really weak. Thankfully, Chris will be coming to that apt. to be with me! Other than that nothing new is going on this pregnancy. My sciatic nerve is acting up… but that’s about it! Little Aussieroo isn’t very active. Hopefully he’ll get more energy and strength as time goes on.

As far as Lily goes, she’s still sick. Right now she’s passed out on the couch. Poor thing. I think she has been sick since the night she wouldn’t go to sleep. So since THURSDAY! She’s been running a fever, has a cold, and just looks so miserable! Last night in the bath she wouldn’t even play. She hates going under the water usually, but last night she seriously went right under the water and let it poor all over her face for like 10 minutes. She had her eyes open and the water just streamed through her eyes lashes into her mouth and the streamed out of her mouth. She had the SADDEST look in her face. She won’t eat or drink anything! I keep giving her pieces of ice or popsicles so she can atleast stay hydrated. I think I’m going to take her to the doctor tomorrow if she’s still sick by them. This is getting ridiculous!

Org Day

Today was ORG day at Chris’s work so two companies played sports all day to see who was better… I guess. Pretty much is was a Field Day for soldiers. Families came out and we all ate good food and watched our boys play sports. They played games like 100 meter dash, tug of war, football, dodge ball, etc. It was really fun. Lily was so sick… she kept of shivering even though it wasn’t THAT cold. Even after I had covered her up in my jacket she was still shivering. I felt her and she was definitely hot. She went straight to bed once we got home. But you can tell how miserable she was in her facial expression. But all in all it was a good day… and best of all Chris got off work early!!

I'm SO tired!!!

Last night was seriously miserable for everyone. Lily went to bed at her normal time just to wake up an hour later. I don’t know if she was sick or just not tired, but it was crazy. At first I just kept putting her in her bed with a pacifier and then right when I would leave she’d start screaming and getting out of her bed to jump and scream. She was MAD! So eventually I went in there and turned on her Baby Einstein Classical Lullaby cd that we FINALLY got in the mail yesterday, and I rocked her on the glider. She laid there, but kept moving around. She couldn’t seem to get comfortable. So I tried putting her back into her bed and tried to leave again and the screaming began again. I decided she must just be needy tonight and I wasn’t planning on sleeping in her bed again so I brought her into ours. Lily couldn’t get comfortable and kept trying to climb on Chris to get in a good sleep position. So I ended up giving up on that idea. So the last thing I could think of was giving up and just sleeping in her bed with her. She just listened to the cd and couldn’t stop moving! She was so restless. After about an hour of that I decided to give her a warm bath. She was good in the bath and started looking sleepy so I tried just putting her to bed and going to my own. Well she went to sleep for about an hour and then started crying/screaming again. I don’t even think she went to sleep I think she was just listening to the music. So this time Chris had had it. It was 3 in the morning and he had to wake up in 1 1/2 hours. So he went into Lily’s room, brought her into my bed, and then he went downstairs on the couch to try to get a little shut eye. By this point I was desperate. I even made Lily a warm BOTTLE of milk. I haven’t given her a bottle in a LONG time. I put in stuff to help her digest food, because I thought her stomach might be hurting. Well it didn’t matter, because she wanted nothing to do with the bottle. She took like two little sips. So then I got some baby Tylenol and gave her that. Around an hour later she finally curled up and fell asleep. She was pushed up against me and I was nearly off the bed the whole night. She woke up probably once an hour throughout the rest of the night, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as early on. It was just a bad night.

For our wedding, my parents bought us the most comfortable bed EVER! It’s a memory foam bed with a pillow top. It’s seriously heaven! Well lately I TRY to wash my sheets on a daily basis, because the smell of our laundry detergent is so wonderful. It’s like going to bed in a comfy pillow of lilacs! My sense of smell is so sensitive right now to the point that if my bed isn’t a strong lilac smell I have a hard time sleeping! Chris says he can barely smell it! He’s crazy! Anyway back to the point. I’ve been sleeping in Lily’s bed on and off my whole life. I never thought it was uncomfortable… it was just a bed! Well last night Lily wouldn’t go to sleep so I decided to go lay in there with her till she fell asleep. Well unfortunately I fell asleep. I would have much rather slept on a hard wood floor! My head, back, body, everything is in pain! I’m actually sore from sleeping! That is the bed of death! I guess I just got used to my luxurious bed and now nothing else will do.

Everyone has so much good to say about breaking dawn. I'm, one, scared that someone’s going to start talking about it and ruin it for me. Two, sad that everyone is probably on a BD high right now so by time I finish reading it it will be old news. And, lastly, I'm upset that I won't be getting it for maybe a month or so when I pre-ordered it MONTHS ago! Like back in April! Belgium sure has it's disadvantages!

Also my friend gave me a gift card to Dale and Thomas popcorn and told me that it was one of her biggest loves during her pregnancy and that I will die when I have it. Well OF COURSE they don’t send to APO addresses. LAME!!!

Oh and I'm 23 weeks and everytime I pee the baby moves down... feels weird.

Tonight we had a messy spaghetti dinner so I took Lily shirt off and put her hair up… didn’t help much! I don’t look good or anything, but since the camera was out I decided to get some belly pictures out of the way…

Blue’s Clues-

Whenever Blue’s Clues comes on tv Lily always gets excited and jumps around screaming for joy. She dances all over the living room! Well at the beginning of the show they always show the house and then Steve sticks his head out the window and says hey and for the kids to come in. Well it was so cute, because Lily has been saying “Hi” and “bye bye” to everyone lately, and when Steve said hey she put a big smile on her face and said, “Hi” and waved at him! It was so adorable!! And then of course started dancing to the music.

Mac and Cheese-

I made some kraft macaroni and cheese for lunch today. Well we were watching tv and eating our food when I looked over at her. I knew we were eating a late lunch and it was going into her naptime, but I didn’t think she’d EVER fall asleep eating! Not my Lily! Anyway It was so cute, because she would slowly put her head down and then pop it up over and over again… kinda like you do in class whenever you’re REALLY tired, but you know if you go to sleep you’ll get in trouble. Then right before I woke her up to take her up to bed she started snoring… she was OUT!

Kix and chocolate-

Lily loves climbing everything she can get her hands on! She has been climbing the furniture for awhile now, but hadn’t discovered the dining room table. Well I guess the Kix were her motivation, because before I knew it she was on the table working through the box. It reminded me of a commercial. I could see them saying “Kix Kid tested, mother approved!”… That was of course until she saw my chocolate stash as our temporary centerpiece… then there was no hope for the kix.

Anyway she just has been a doll today. I know she probably should have gone to timeout ATLEAST 5 times today, but LOOK AT HER! She’s too CUTE! Glad Chris wasn’t here… he would say, “No wonder she never listens to you”. Oh well :)

My neighbor Leann just bought a 220 (European outlet) blender and since I just got wic (frozen orange juice and milk) today we got together and made Orange Julius’s! I forgot how wonderful they are! I seriously made it perfectly! She loved them! She had only tried the ones from the mall and my Orange Julius’s are WAY better!

My Friend, Kristen is coming to spend the rest of the weekend with me! She pretty much rocks :)

So Chris failed his tape test by 1%. So pretty much life sucks. Last night we were at a BBQ where everyone was talking about how people get away with everything in the army… because they’re so needed. Chris does everything right… he’ll stay at work extra long to stay ahead and is always trying to go above and beyond. So he fails his tape by 1% and now he gets in trouble and we can’t grow at all! Did you know that a few weeks ago the whole company had a race to see who was the fastest and best at PT and the ONLY person faster and better then Chris was his Captain! His caption is a freaking ranger! He does SO WELL at PT… he got 100% on his push ups and sit ups and he always runs 2 miles UNDER a 14! But because of his genes we will stay E-2 for the next 20 freaking years!! I’m SO not happy!! I’m very disappointed in Chris, the army, and myself. Chris for not trying hard enough, the army for letting Chris go on trips to Germany and for not looking at him as a soldier who is amazing and just let the 1% slide, and myself for being pregnant right now. I have to have crap food around and Chris isn’t THAT strong. Remember how fat Chris got during my pregnancy with Lily? I mean compared to that Chris is doing GREAT!!! I’m NOT happy right now!
