Piano

I want Lily and Austin to play the piano.  It's such a great skill and I just think it's cool. 

There's nothing more attractive then a boy who can play the piano!!

Since austin isn't going to be a sports player, he might as well get into music!

I learned as a kid for awhile, and i wish i had stuck with it!!

Fighting For Forever.

I feel like opening up a little...
Some days I don’t love Chris. Some days I can even say I hate him. It’s true. We aren’t full of rainbows and butterflies all the time. The truth is, we fight. We fight everyday to keep our love alive. Some days are harder than others. Some days I don’t know if I want to scream or cry. I have often considered what I’d do if it all ended. Who I’d be. What my life would be like. Who I’d end up with. But in reality it really doesn’t matter! I’m married. I chose Chris to spend the rest of my life with! I love him. I’ve always loved him. I chose him for a reason. Yeah we were young, and I’m not going to sit here and say that I don’t consider the “what ifs”, but he is my other half. We are not alone in this world, and never will be again. I will never have to hit rock bottom ever again. Now WE hit rock bottom. We’re life partners; we’ve started a family together. He’s mine and I’m his. Not just to love, but to share a life with… our life together. We have so much more than love. SO much more. Honestly, the love sometimes goes away. I’m not going to lie. It’s extremely hard when it goes, and things get rough. But no matter what, we always get it back. Always! I guess it’s because we fight. Sometimes it’s so easy to run. But how could we? Love is not just a beautiful feeling anymore, its life. It’s our family. It's what we do everyday for each other. Love is Chris supporting our family, and me keeping it together at home. We’ve done some horrible things to each other, we’ve had some epic fights, but look at us! We just keep getting back up… his hand in mine. Like I said before, it’s not me against the world anymore- it’s us. We have so many years to build our love together. Giving up just can’t be the right answer. Right now, we’re having a rocky moment, but look at us. We’re getting through it together. If I get weak, he brings me back up and vise versa. After we get through this hard time in our lives, we’ll be stronger than ever, I know it. We have so much life ahead of us. The love is still there. I love him.

Wow I feel old now.

Usually I don't feel a day older when my birthday comes around.  But this year my life took a big 180... I feel old and lame.  Why do you ask?  Because every gift I got, I wanted!  I was so excited to get each and every one of them!  I had a great birthday.  I guess I feel old, because I was a little TOO excited to get my gifts :)

That just makes me feel old... like 40 ;)

I always used my sisters, but now that she's moving I need to be self sufficient :(

Lily and Austin gave me a MUCH NEEDED iron.

Anytime my clothes were wrinkly, I had to just hang them up in a steamy hot bathroom and hope for the best!

They also gave me some beloved chocolate!!

My sisters chipped in and got me a really cute JCrew headband.

It's nude pink... and is absolutely lovely.

And my friend got me a few GORGEOUS eye-shadows from my one and only MAC!

Also since Chris couldn't be around for this birthday, we decided that I could have a mini shopping spree!

I got to spend a little money to get some new clothes at Forever 21!

It's love.

• For my birthday, I got to have my mom and dad in town!  That is always a gift!
• I got to spend time with some old friends that I hardly ever see anymore... and I got to see them childless... that's unheard of these days!
• We celebrated my birthday by going to see INGID MICHAELSON preform live in down town Atlanta!
  I LOVE HER MUSIC!!!  When i saw she would be in town on my birthday I just had to make a night out of it!
• And I felt SO LOVED!!!  I got TONS of comments and emails wishing me a Happy Birthday!  It's nice to know that people care.  Thank you guys!

Sunday Church

Lately I've been trying to go back to church.  Slowly, but surely I've been working my way in that direction.  I am starting to like my ward.  I'm going to play dates on Tuesday and Wednesday!  There are a lot of young moms!  The lessons were really good today also.  I wish I had taken pictures BEFORE church, because I felt pretty this morning, I'm kind of washed out in these pictures, but I wanted Yall to see my cute family (minus my loving husband), my new dress, and my new hair color, dark blonde.  It's been nice going back.  I know it's not going to be easy, but all I can say is baby steps.  I want my family to be together forever, and I hope I can learn more, and maybe even gain some sort of testimony.  It's a great environment for my kids, and I'm excited for them to experience church.

Cousin Princess Brunch

Lily invited Kenzie over the other day for a Princess Brunch, because she knows how much Kenzie loves being a pretty princess. Auntie Em threw the brunch and it was so much fun! Both Kenzie and Lily were full of ooohs and aaahs the whole morning/afternoon. They enjoyed getting all dressed up with dresses, princess crowns, and Emily made jewelry! They ate pink waffles covered in ice-cream, strawberries, bananas, and homemade hot syrup. Then they got to decorate cupcake with lots of candy. Lily loved it! I loved watching them dance to the fun princess music, and playing with the decorations Kenzie thought were so pretty! It was overall a fabulous day! Natalie has better pictures though :( I hope she posts them soon! I'll post a video up... maybe later today!

Yes. I have a little crush on headbands these days... and cute clothes. I've always just worn whatever, but the more I watch shows like Gossip Girl and one Tree Hill the more I like dressing up. I wish i had a couple thousand to spend on a new wardrobe!
