I GOT MY BELGIAN DRIVERS LICENSE!

It is so much harder than the us tests!
I had to memorize over 100 road sign that are SO DIFFERENT!
And the rules are so weird!
like if you were driving down a main road you have to STOP for the person to the right!
So the personm coming out of the gas station has right of way!
Anyway I passed that's all that matters! Now I just need my car here!

7. I wish my friends out here didn’t make me feel so young even though I love them to death!
8. I have my mom’s mind, I’m unorganized and I do everything my own way… Chris HATES it!
9. I couldn’t have a more perfect family for me… I am so lucky.
10. I want to go to school for cosmetology and photography… but I don’t want to make it a career… my career is keeping my family together and comfortable.
11. I can’t save money for anything! So I’m glad that everything is covered by the army!
12. Pajamas are my thing. If I could I’d wear them ALL THE TIME! When I come home I get in my pjs first thing!
13. I want to start reading for pleasure.
14. I love taking pictures of every moment of my life so I can remember it later!
15. I snack all day and usually I let Lily snack too which is probably bad for her.
16.I love it when I turn on some music and Chris, Lily, I dance around the living room together. I love that we find spending quality family time important.

My hair is TRASH!

I need to get it done! But I can't because I can't afford the 200 or so Euro it costs. But my hair is in such bad shape! So I'm thinking of just dying it all again. light brown maybe? I don't know. I need a hair cut too. It looks like trash anyway I put it. I HAVE to wear it in a ponytail for it to look okay. I LOVE my hair blonde, but I can't afford it right now. Plus I will NEVER get my hair done on the economy out here... It's Horrible. I think so much better about myself when I look okay. I love when my hair is done... it's like I'm on the top of the world and nobody can bring me down (unless they diss my hair). I did so much work getting it to this color and it will be so sad when I have to change it! I’m am in serious remorse for getting the new tv and the couches. I felt like we were doing so good being out of debt and now we just drilled ourselves into this hole that is consuming me!

Easter night!

It hasn't snowed out here in 3 YEARS! Just A LOT of rain and VERY COLD!!! Last night the easter bunny brought us some snow!

I’ve just become a member of the FRG (family readiness group) on base. It’s a group that does fundraisers, events, and keeps the military families active and together. So Thurs. evening I went to my first FRG meeting. It was also a family pot luck. They provided the ham so we were all assigned to bring a side dish or a dessert. I brought a “better than sex” trifle! It was a HIT! I got compliments everywhere I turned! Anyway here’s pictures of my trifle and lucky Lily licking the spoon!

Okay well AAFES which is a military store out here accidentally got some furniture sent to them that wasn’t expected. So The AAFES out here had a HUGE furniture sale. Everything was 50% of or more! Well if you came the next day (Friday), you’d get an EXTRA 25% off! Well OF COURSE we came the next day. Well we found the couches we like took them up to buy them and it turns out we got an EXTRA 25% off the last 25% off! So basically we got all this furniture for next to nothing! Even if we decide we don’t like it we can sell it when we leave and probably MAKE money off of them!!

Plus since we bought it through AAFES no tax or shipping was charged!

we got a JVC 47 inch LCD HD flat screen TV

so now we can put our 32 inch in our room!

and an ipod classic so we can listen to AMERICAN music in the car!
