I think Lily had a great birthday.
She went to church and played with new friends all morning.
Then she ate a yummy lunch.
Had a nap.
Woke up to a decorated house and friends to play with.
Ate olives (her favorite) and cream puffs.
Enjoyed a ton of presents… she got way too much!
And had a great time with her cousins!

I can’t believe my little girl is two.
She is my world and I love her more than life.
She’s one of the three reasons I love having a family.

The last day being one- 349

Since tomorrow Lily and me are going to church early in the morning, we are having her birthday breakfast this morning. Lily ate FOUR whole waffles! She must be going through a growth spurt, because I only had two and I was fine! That girl is crazy! So she had four waffles and spent her morning watching her favorite cartoons.

Being at the hospital is so boring! Austin is fine now, but they just want to monitor his breathing for a couple days.

I want to start being religious, but I really don’t want to give up my non religious lifestyle.

I think it’s lame when people have scripture verses as their facebook statuses- I understand your super religious and love God, but seriously!

I just found out that two more people from YCA are pregnant. Pretty much our whole class now…

I have about one week till I will start having sex again [I’m kinda nervous]
-Is that weird?

Hospital food is… okay. But you have to be careful what you order.

I feel a connection with other parents here… we all just understand each other. It’s nice to feel that strong of a bond with a total stranger. People start conversations with us about Austin constantly and we just hit it off!
They just really know… you know?

I watched Augusta, Gone on lifetime last night and seriously… wow.

I’m super excited for my new camera!

Natalie’s such a rockin’ sister. She’s always there to help me out when I really need her! She’s watching Lily while I’m here and Chris is at work. I have such a supportive family!

I really like that my mom knows everything about me now. I tell her things I would never have told her a few years ago. It really makes it easier to call and vent [even when she’s too busy :)]

I’m addicted to hospital ice chips.

Leaving Lily kills me. I always think I’d like a break from her, but then we separate for a night and all I can think about is how much I miss her and how much I’m missing.
She’s growing up way too fast. Everytime I call Chris. Lily is chattin’ it up in the background.
It’s depressing!

I feel so poor this time of year. If I have one more kid in the winter I’m going to have to sell myself or file bankruptcy!

I want to see Bride Wars! I really like Anne Hathaway. She’s my new favorite and Chris’s new crush.

Home Sweet Home- 350

We're all happy to be at home and together again.

It's nice to have a little break from reality,

but it's really nice to come back to it.

I missed Chris and Lily so much!

We really do operate better as a family.

Today they look off Austin's tubes.

They had to ween him off slowly.

But he was very happy to get that tube out of his nose!

And so was I... one less thing to worry about.

And they decided to monitor him for the next 24 hours to see how he'll be...

Hospital Food- 352

Fried chicken. french fries, cookies, and chips were my favorite hospital food.

but that's not saying much.

Hospital food is never all too wonderful.

But hey since I'm breast feeding I get food for free

[so I'm not complaining]

Breathing- 353

That tube on his face put a little pressure into his nose to help him breath easier.

Before that tube you could see his ribs when he breathed.

And you could tell that he was working very hard.

I'm so thankful I took him to the pediatrician!

Lily Loves- 354

I look pretty sloppy, but look how cute Lily is! She is growing up way too fast and becoming more and more girlie.

This was right before we went to the pediatrician.

Then they had the ambulance come get Austin, because of breathing problems.

my nails are so long now it's gross

I hate when toys or clothes have characters on them. Disney princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Sesame Street, so on and so on.

I need to get my sleep schedule back to normal… staying up late with my sisters really turned me around.

I hate that Lily won’t take a bath. She is so used to showering with me, and now when I try to give her a bath she’s afraid to sit in the water.

I hate That Austin’s birthday, Christmas, Lily’s birthday, and our anniversary are so close together. By Feb. we’ll be broke every year. Not to mention most likely Lily will get ripped off on her birthday.

I was going through our memory box today and read some of the love letters Chris wrote me when we were dating… he was so sweet!

Sometimes when Austin makes a squeaky noise I think we have mice. I’m so afraid of having mice.

Chris went on and on about how he didn’t like Joan of Arcadia, then we watched a few episodes and he then said that it was okay, but he would never watch it without me, because it wasn’t good enough.
… I just caught him watching it without me.

I wasn't a huge fan of my kitchen, but I love that it's all stainless steel.

Lily's full of energy this morning!

My boobs are so engorged! I’m going to die!

I woke up at like 6 am this morning wide awake, but since I was dumb and went back to sleep I woke up this time tired and lazy. Go figure.

Austin is so sick! He has a cold. He eats, but not well. He sleeps… kinda. He’s just not doing well.

Seriously my boobs.

I do like Britney Spears.

I hate my little SUV… I wish I could get it paid off and one day have a van.

I hope this is a good year… I hope even more that Austin is fine this year.
- I also hope I can fulfill atleast some of my New Year’s resolutions.

I hate that Chris won’t start cleaning till I get up and going, but then he want to quit around 5. I’m a night person so yeah I sleep in, but I’m ready to go for hours after he’s ready to stop. He really seems to be getting lazier as the days go by.
-Infact, since he’s painted the living room I think he’s pretty much done with all the painting. It really bothers me.

Now that Christmas is down our family room looks so plain! We need to decorate!

I love my bed so much. I look forward to sleeping in it every night, and dread getting out of it every morning. It’s like I’m sleeping on a cloud.

My makeup’s here! I really do enjoy wearing makeup. It makes me feel like a lady. I don’t understand why so many people don’t wear it… shouldn’t they want to take pride in the fact that they’re women.

I want blonder hair… the color I don’t like it coming through.

I've been having this sweet tooth that just won't go away. But no dessert sounds good enough.

I just cleaned the kitchen after we ate dinner and I must say I’m very proud of my kitchen now. It was the worst part of the house, but I think it’s looking up.

I want to start going to church again, but I honestly don’t want to wake up early. Sundays have become my lazy day these last few years.

I just downloaded a few scrapbook layouts that used to be on my laptop and I think I’m going to make a new blog layout and maybe new ones for my other sites.

I can’t wait till pay day! I hate needing to pay a bill and having to wait till mid month to pay it! It makes me stress out the whole month.

Chris going back to work will be lame. But there’s a four day next weekend! This is why I love MLK... you know besides the whole freedom thing.

I really need to start brushing Lily’s teeth on a regular basis. She needs to have good habits.

I love that we have the Twilight Movie on the xbox… but Chris is never in the mood to watch it again.

I love that my new vacuum is red. Red is probably the best color ever.

I don’t care what my mom thinks; Lily’s earrings are cute on her.

I hate having thrush, it so painful to nurse Austin on my left boob.

Okay Chris told me that I'd regret it and be even madder if I don't keep going so I just took a picture of my boy's sleeping. I'm sorry about the last post. Doctor recommended- 359

Chris just got off and here’s what happened.
- The doctor said he had a high temperature, fast heartbeat, and all these other things. He got a pain shot and whole bag full of medicines. They told him that he can’t go to work for the next 5 days. He has to go to sleep when he feels tired, and eat if he gets hungry. Other than that he should relax and try to get better.

Chris right now is lying on the couch and can’t really move or even talk. I can tell he’s miserable. Guess I gotta go be Nurse Amy. I have nurse outfit somewhere around here :) Just kidding!

I hate that Chris is working today. He was running a HORRIBLE fever last night. I could hardly touch him last night because he was so hot! Then he spent his whole morning throwing up and leaning over because he was so sick. But all that he could do was make an appointment with “sick call” and go to work. I hope he’s doing okay! I haven’t been able to get in touch with him yet today. I want him at home in bed! This is ridiculous. He has never called in sick in the two years he’s been in the army… I hope they let him go early. I hope he’s doing better!!

Lily’s new thing is throwing EVERYTHING in the trash can. I’m afraid she’s going to throw something important away one of these days.

Oh and for the most part we’re all feeling better. We’re not feeling great, but much better.

sick- 361

Lily was SO sick today. Both she and I had bad fevers. We spent the whole day watching Beauty and the Beast and snuggling up in bed. You REALLY know Lily’s sick when she just stands in the shower letting all the water drizzle down her face. Usually she won’t dare let the water touch her. Poor baby. I couldn’t help much either because seriously I was SICK! I had the chills REALLY bad and then all the sudden I was a furnace. Austin was sweating after every time I nursed him. Anyway overall yesterday was a bad day.

My little sicklings- 362

My hubbs and kids are so sick! They caught something at my parent's house in NY and now all my poor babies need some loves. We just got home from NY today and it was REALLY sad to leave my family. I love them SO MUCH! The drive home was LONG! Chris drove the whole way, and now he has a fever. Poor guy. Anyway they all went to bed around 8. So for my pictures today I have BAD pics of the kids sleeping.
